Senior Electrical Designer

About the role

• Westwin Elements is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Designer to support the design, development, and execution of electrical systems for large-scale industrial and process facilities.

What you'll do

• Develop and review detailed electrical design documents including single-line diagrams, layouts, and cable schedules.
• Design electrical systems for industrial facilities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and applicable codes.
• Support procurement and review vendor submittals.
• Mentor junior designers.
• Support construction and commissioning activities.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Strong understanding of power distribution systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPC or large capital project experience.
• Hazardous area classification knowledge.
• Experience in heavy industrial or processing environments.
• 3D Modeling Experience
