This role provides an opportunity to lead a high-performing team managing the organization’s most influential accounts while directly contributing to strategic client success. The position requires setting operational standards, defining engagement strategies, and ensuring white-glove service delivery across key partnerships. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design scalable onboarding and growth processes, and leverage data-driven insights to maximize account performance and revenue expansion. This leadership role emphasizes mentorship, operational excellence, and long-term relationship building with enterprise clients. It is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep experience in account management, team leadership, and cross-departmental collaboration. The role is remote but includes opportunities for engagement with internal and external stakeholders across the country.
Accountabilities:- Lead and mentor the Strategic Account Management team, setting standards for premium service delivery across high-value accounts.
- Define, refine, and implement the “white glove” service model, creating playbooks, frameworks, and best practices for proactive client engagement.
- Design and manage scalable onboarding processes for multiple partner accounts while maintaining high service quality.
- Develop and sustain executive-level relationships with key accounts, serving as the primary escalation point for strategic initiatives.
- Conduct business reviews and strategic planning sessions to assess account performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive revenue expansion.
- Collaborate with internal departments—including Marketing, Technology, and Programs—to remove blockers and implement initiatives that support partner growth.
- Oversee account lifecycle management, tracking performance metrics, and presenting insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s strongly preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive experience in account management, customer success, business development, or partnership management.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role overseeing client-facing teams.
- Proven success managing enterprise-level or strategic partnerships in sports, recreation, entertainment, or brand licensing.
- Strong expertise in retention strategies, lifecycle management, and proactive account engagement.
- Ability to design and implement account growth plans that drive measurable participation and revenue increases.
- Experience using data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and workflow design to drive operational efficiency and target outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Passion for youth sports and expanding access to sporting opportunities.
- Willingness to travel up to 33% of the time.
