The role combines strategic vision with hands-on ownership of curriculum design, quality, and iteration. You will lead the transformation toward a modular, scalable curriculum architecture that enables rapid updates and continuous improvement. Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, learning, and partnerships teams, you will ensure educational programs remain rigorous, relevant, and impactful. This is a high-visibility role where your work directly influences learner outcomes and workforce readiness at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and own the long-term curriculum strategy, ensuring alignment with industry evolution, especially in AI-native software engineering and emerging technologies
  • Lead the transformation toward a modular, scalable curriculum architecture that enables rapid updates, experimentation, and multi-channel delivery models
  • Oversee the full curriculum portfolio, including web development, mobile development, cybersecurity, technical interview preparation, foundational computer science, and AI-focused courses
  • Drive end-to-end course lifecycle management, from design and development to iteration, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
  • Launch new high-impact courses aligned with industry demand, particularly in generative AI, applied AI workflows, and modern engineering practices
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing curriculum team, including internal staff and external contributors
  • Establish strong operational systems for curriculum planning, feedback loops, quality control, and roadmap execution
  • Partner closely with engineering, learning delivery, product, and partnerships teams to ensure alignment between curriculum, platform, and learner outcomes
  • Represent curriculum strategy and quality in external engagements with academic institutions, employers, and industry stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong background in software engineering with deep technical credibility in computer science and/or AI-related domains
  • Proven experience designing and owning large-scale technical curriculum or educational programs used by thousands of learners
  • Demonstrated leadership in building and managing teams, including both full-time staff and contractors
  • Strong understanding of the gap between academic computer science education and real-world engineering expectations
  • Experience or strong interest in integrating AI-first approaches into curriculum design, development, and scaling processes
  • Ability to apply learning science principles such as spaced repetition, project-based learning, and blended instruction models
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capability and a bias toward measurable outcomes and continuous improvement
  • Experience in fast-paced, mission-driven, or high-growth environments is highly valued
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical and educational concepts for diverse stakeholders

Benefits:

  • Fully remote work across the United States
  • Competitive total compensation ranging from $165,000 to $239,000, including base salary and guaranteed supplement
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance (high employer contribution for employees and dependents)
  • Retirement benefits including 401(k) plan
  • Generous paid time off, holidays, and extended year-end company closure
  • 10 weeks of fully paid parental leave
  • Annual professional development stipend and home office support
  • Financial and wellness benefits including life and disability insurance, FSAs, and additional employee assistance programs
  • Student loan forgiveness eligibility under Public Service Loan Forgiveness programs
