This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of media measurement, commercial strategy, and data-driven advertising performance within a fast-scaling retail media environment. You will define how advertising effectiveness is measured and understood across a major commerce ecosystem, shaping frameworks that directly influence advertiser investment decisions. Leading a large and specialized analytics organization, you will transform complex data into actionable insights that drive growth for global brands. The role requires close collaboration with product, data science, sales, and engineering teams to build scalable, trusted measurement systems. Operating in a highly dynamic, innovation-driven setting, you will also engage with external partners and industry groups to shape standards in media analytics. Accountabilities:
  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for media analytics across advertising products, ensuring measurement frameworks accurately capture incrementality, performance, and business impact.
  • Lead and scale a ~30-person analytics organization, including managers and senior individual contributors across measurement science, experimentation, and client analytics.
  • Develop and standardize advanced measurement methodologies such as causal inference, MMM, attribution models, geo experimentation, and audience insights.
  • Partner with product, data science, and engineering teams to operationalize scalable analytics solutions and embed measurement into product systems.
  • Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, compelling narratives for advertisers and internal commercial teams to drive investment decisions.
  • Establish governance frameworks for data quality, privacy-safe measurement, and reporting standards across the ecosystem.
  • Manage operating cadences, prioritization, and resourcing to ensure alignment with high-impact strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee third-party measurement partnerships and integrate external providers into unified analytics frameworks.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and contribute to the advancement of retail media measurement standards.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in media analytics, marketing science, advertising measurement, or related fields in digital advertising or retail media environments.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing large analytics teams, including managers of managers, with a strong record of talent development and organizational scaling.
  • Deep expertise in incrementality testing, experimental design, causal inference, MMM, and attribution modeling at enterprise scale.
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL and advanced analytical programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience influencing senior executives and C-suite stakeholders at major advertisers, agencies, or CPG organizations.
  • Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering.
  • Experience working with privacy-safe measurement solutions, clean rooms, and identity frameworks.
  • Proven ability to evaluate and integrate third-party measurement partners and reconcile external and first-party data sources.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analytical concepts for business audiences.
  • Graduate degree (MS, MBA, or PhD) in a quantitative field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience engaging with industry bodies or contributing to measurement standards is a plus.
