What You'll Do:
- Owning the Development, QA and Cloud Operations functions for all of our SaaS products, you’ll build high performing teams and drive engineering excellence through continuous process improvement and coaching.
- You’ll work closely with peers in product management, design, and executive leadership to deliver high value, high quality product releases and exceptional customer experience.
- As a leader, you'll build and mentor engineering managers and individual contributors, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and customer obsession. You'll establish engineering standards, drive architectural decisions, and ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.
- You'll own non-functional roadmaps for each product and work with product management to build and execute development plans that allocate capacity with intentionality across functional and non-functional priorities in line with product and broader company strategy objectives.
What You'll Need:
- You have 12+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles managing managers.
- You've built and scaled engineering organizations of 30+ people and have broad and deep expertise across diverse technology stacks and tools and processes supporting and enabling agile development best practice.
- Your track record includes successfully delivering complex, intra- and inter-product initiatives while maintaining operational excellence.
- You're an exceptional people leader who can inspire teams, develop talent, and drive accountability.
- You have strong technical judgment and can make sound architectural decisions while staying close enough to the code to guide your teams effectively.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and modern observability tools is essential and you should have experience driving the usage of AI tooling to value within and SDLC context.
- You communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and thrive in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
Preferred:
- Experience with specific technologies in our stack, prior work in our industry vertical, or a background scaling engineering organizations through hyper-growth phases would be particularly valuable.
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required for candidates with equivalent experience.
