This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for defining and elevating the global communications strategy for a fast-scaling cybersecurity organization. You will shape how the market, media, analysts, and investors understand the company’s mission, innovation, and category leadership. Operating as a strategic partner to the executive team, you will drive both proactive storytelling and reactive communications in a highly dynamic industry. The role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, requiring a player-coach mindset and strong narrative instincts. You will lead a global communications function spanning PR, analyst relations, and corporate messaging. This is a highly visible position with direct influence on brand perception, market positioning, and business growth.


Accountabilities:

Own and evolve the global communications and PR strategy, aligning messaging with business priorities, market expansion, and long-term growth objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on narrative development, reputation management, and external communications positioning.

  • Define and lead global PR and communications strategy, ensuring consistent messaging across all regions and audiences
  • Build and execute executive, corporate, and product storytelling that strengthens market leadership and category authority
  • Partner with leadership on IPO readiness communications, investor relations messaging, and long-term brand positioning
  • Lead and develop a high-performing PR and communications team while managing global agency partners
  • Establish and scale a speaker bureau, positioning internal experts as industry voices across media, analyst, and event ecosystems
  • Own crisis communications strategy and readiness, ensuring rapid, effective, and credible response during critical events
  • Oversee performance measurement through KPIs, share of voice, and brand impact metrics tied to business outcomes

Requirements:

This role requires deep experience in strategic communications leadership within high-growth, complex technology environments, ideally in cybersecurity or B2B SaaS. You bring a strong track record of building and scaling global PR functions and influencing executive-level stakeholders.

  • 10+ years of experience in communications, PR, or analyst relations within B2B SaaS or technology environments
  • Proven experience operating at senior leadership level, ideally including IPO-stage or high-growth scaling organizations
  • Strong media relationships and ability to drive earned media strategies across global markets
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive messaging, press materials, and thought leadership content
  • Experience leading global teams and managing external PR/communications agencies
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity or technical domains is highly preferred
  • Ability to operate as a player-coach, balancing strategy with hands-on execution
  • Experience managing crisis communications and reputation risk scenarios
