This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Director, Analyst - Healthcare Providers - RCM & Healthcare AI Technology based in the United States.

The Senior Director, Analyst will serve as a trusted industry expert focused on healthcare revenue cycle management and emerging healthcare technologies.
This individual contributor role combines research, strategic analysis, thought leadership, client advisory, and executive engagement.
You will develop actionable insights into how modern RCM processes, technologies, automation, and AI can improve financial and operational outcomes for healthcare providers.
The role covers hospitals, academic medical centers, health delivery organizations, and the broader ecosystem supporting healthcare administration and payment.
You will influence senior decision-makers by translating complex market trends, technology developments, and operational challenges into practical recommendations.
You will also represent research and insights through executive briefings, client interactions, conferences, presentations, and industry engagements.
Success will require deep RCM expertise, strong analytical and communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to shape thought leadership within a global, highly collaborative environment.


Accountabilities:
  • Develop innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged research and thought leadership focused on revenue cycle management, healthcare provider technology, and emerging healthcare AI applications.
  • Generate new insights and ideas that address complex client challenges and provide compelling, actionable recommendations that accelerate decision-making and business outcomes.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify root causes, market dynamics, operational barriers, and opportunities within healthcare revenue cycle management.
  • Establish differentiated points of view and thought leadership positions that can influence research agendas and inform strategic decisions across the analyst community.
  • Research, analyze, and anticipate market trends, technology shifts, competitive developments, and innovations affecting healthcare providers and RCM.
  • Advise clients and prospects through virtual and face-to-face interactions, helping them apply relevant insights to critical business and technology priorities.
  • Build credibility as a recognized industry expert by providing objective guidance on RCM technologies, processes, vendors, AI applications, and market developments.
  • Create and deliver high-value presentations for client briefings, industry events, professional associations, conferences, and other executive audiences.
  • Support sales and client engagement activities by serving as a voice of the market and helping teams connect research insights to client priorities and business opportunities.
  • Provide timely, high-quality peer reviews of research and contribute to maintaining rigorous standards across published insights and analysis.
  • Participate actively in innovation, ideation, research planning, and collaborative discussions across the broader insights community.
  • Identify opportunities to improve research methodologies, processes, and service delivery, and help develop approaches that increase team effectiveness.
  • Mentor and coach more junior analysts and contribute to the development of a high-performing research community.
  • Maintain a strong client-centric approach by proactively creating opportunities for clients to engage with relevant research, insights, and advisory interactions.
  • Translate complex technology, financial, operational, and market concepts into clear, concise, and actionable guidance for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • 12+ years of relevant industry or functional experience.
  • Direct experience working in U.S. revenue cycle management within a healthcare organization, healthcare technology vendor, or healthcare technology-focused research, advisory, or consulting firm is required.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle management concepts and practices outside the U.S. is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of how emerging technologies, including automation and AI/machine learning, can be applied across healthcare, particularly in revenue cycle management, clinical documentation, and virtual care or telemedicine.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing senior-level decision-makers on revenue cycle management, healthcare technology, financial performance, or related strategic issues.
  • Deep knowledge of modern revenue cycle processes, technology vendors, implementation challenges, and the real-world operational issues faced by hospitals and other healthcare providers.
  • Familiarity with clinical coding and documentation practices and their relationship to modern revenue cycle management and value-based care.
  • Understanding of electronic health record technologies and their role in enabling healthcare provider administration.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue cycle performance indicators, financial metrics, and analytics used to optimize collections, payment timelines, denials, coding, and related outcomes.
  • Demonstrated executive presence, with the ability to establish immediate credibility with executives and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent research, writing, analytical, and presentation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Strong ability to analyze and synthesize complex data, recognize patterns, apply frameworks, and develop and defend well-supported conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts simply and respond effectively to challenging questions.
  • Strong subject matter expertise and confidence presenting to both small executive groups and large-scale audiences.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with an understanding of the competitive and global landscape surrounding healthcare RCM and related technologies.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative and supporting colleagues across a multicultural, globally distributed team.
  • Learning agility and comfort navigating complex, highly matrixed environments with evolving priorities.
  • Ability to represent research methodologies, analytical frameworks, and strategic approaches effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as required.
  • Additional healthcare expertise, or experience in industries with similar claims and payment-system challenges such as health insurance, is advantageous.

  • Base salary range of $172,000–$202,500 USD, with actual compensation varying based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
