Senior Digital Designer (Remote - US)

You will lead creative projects from daily feature stories to major editorial packages, crafting compelling visual narratives that engage millions. Accountabilities

• Ensure consistent and compelling visual style aligned with brand guidelines across all digital channels.
• Craft detailed prompts for AI image generation tools and refine them to achieve desired creative outcomes.
• Lead creative brainstorming sessions and manage design workflows for daily stories and larger editorial packages.
• Produce original artwork, illustrations, photo collages, and direct external illustrators as needed.
• Design charts, infographics, and promotional assets for social media and website use.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, photo, video, social, product, and tech teams to optimize storytelling approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in design, illustration, or related field with 4-7 years of digital design experience, preferably in media or editorial publishing.
• Strong skills in graphic creation, illustration, and photo collage, capable of producing original art independently.
• Expertise in editorial illustration and visual storytelling with a refined sense of composition, typography, and digital design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus.
• Experience with generative AI tools such as Google Gemini AI, Getty AI, and Adobe Firefly, with a willingness to explore new technologies.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication skills and a portfolio demonstrating storytelling ability, design excellence, and adaptability across digital platforms.
• Applications must include an online portfolio showcasing relevant work. A design test will be required for final candidates.
