This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in United States.
This role is ideal for an experienced DevOps professional who will lead a high-performing team to design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid cloud environment. You will drive automation, improve operational efficiency, and support mission-critical applications across cloud and on-premise systems. Working closely with engineering teams, you will influence the deployment process, streamline workflows, and implement innovative solutions that enhance software delivery. This position offers a collaborative and fast-paced environment where technical leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement are highly valued.
· Lead a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight of day-to-day operations.
· Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to support application development and deployment.
· Collaborate with software engineering teams to plan and implement incremental deployments, test environments, and production releases.
· Manage cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
· Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, particularly with Terraform, to streamline system provisioning and maintenance.
· Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and the adoption of best practices across the DevOps lifecycle.
· Support migration of legacy systems to cloud-based microservices architecture where applicable.
Requirements
· 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar engineering role.
· Strong experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters at scale.
· Proven expertise with hybrid cloud/on-premise systems.
· Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
· Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
· Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with software engineering and operations teams.
· Leadership experience or willingness to manage a team of DevOps engineers.
· Passion for automating manual processes and continuously improving workflows.
· Experience with cloud migrations and microservices architecture is a plus.
