Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote - US)

This role is designed for a highly skilled DevOps leader who will manage and enhance cloud-based software platforms, driving automation, scalability, and operational excellence. You will lead a team responsible for end-to-end deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and hybrid environments, ensuring seamless delivery of software solutions. The position emphasizes collaboration with software engineering teams, process optimization, and continuous improvement of DevOps practices. Accountabilities:

·        Lead a team of DevOps engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and operational oversight.

·        Support existing DevOps tools while designing and building new automation capabilities.

·        Manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable deployment and operational excellence.

·        Collaborate with software engineering teams to prioritize incremental deployments and optimize workflows.

·        Guide the installation, creation, and enhancement of automation tools for development, testing, and production environments.

·        Oversee the migration of on-premise systems to cloud-based or hybrid environments, including microservices architectures.

·        Continuously identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve system performance.

Requirements

·        5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.

·        Proven experience deploying and managing Kubernetes at scale.

·        Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.

·        Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform.

·        Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

·        Ability to manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.

·        Hands-on experience with cloud migrations and microservices approaches.

·        Strong collaboration skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
