This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in the United States.

This role is ideal for a seasoned DevOps professional focused on Azure environments, responsible for shaping, governing, and maintaining enterprise-wide DevOps practices. You will ensure engineering teams have scalable, secure, and efficient CI/CD pipelines while implementing infrastructure as code and managing deployment automation. The position involves mentoring teams, enforcing best practices, and optimizing workflows to increase operational efficiency. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance, security, and high reliability across projects. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, innovative environment while staying at the forefront of cloud technologies and DevOps trends. Remote work is supported, providing flexibility along with exposure to advanced automation and cloud governance strategies.

Accountabilities:

·         Administer and maintain Azure DevOps platform with high availability, performance, and scalability.

·         Define and enforce governance policies for project structures, branching strategies, permissions, and release pipelines.

·         Establish platform-wide standards for CI/CD, artifact management, and infrastructure as code.

·         Develop and promote best practices for DevOps workflows, including versioning, testing, and deployment.

·         Implement and manage access controls, audit logging, and compliance requirements across the platform.

·         Support and govern infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Argo, Bicep, or ARM templates.

·         Integrate observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus for proactive monitoring and alerting.

·         Optimize build and release pipelines, container strategies, and deployment automation.

Requirements

·         Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·         7+ years of experience as an SRE/DevOps Engineer, preferably with Azure DevOps or similar platforms.

·         Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.

·         Strong understanding of Azure services, cloud architecture, and security best practices.

·         AZ-400 (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) certification strongly preferred.

·         Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, PowerShell, Docker, LogicApps, and YAML pipelines preferred.

·         Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
