This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in United States.

In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable software delivery. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot complex issues. The position emphasizes automation, infrastructure as code, and reliability across AWS environments, while mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices. This role offers an opportunity to shape infrastructure strategy, leverage modern DevOps tools, and drive operational excellence in a dynamic, technology-focused environment.


  • Accountabilities:
  • • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
  • • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation, SAM templates, Terraform, and CDK.
  • • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications in AWS.
  • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the software development lifecycle.
  • • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, security, and reliability.
  • • Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
  • • Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • • Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve DevOps processes.
  • Requirements:
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
  • • Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD, AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, IAM, IoT Core), and infrastructure automation.
  • • Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, SAM templates, and CDK.
  • • Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
  • • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • • Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues.
  • • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • • Analytical and data-driven mindset with a passion for innovation.
  • • Preferred: AWS DevOps certifications, security best practices, experience with microservices architecture, and familiarity with Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies.
  • Benefits:
