Senior Developer (Remote)

The Senior Developer will lead web development initiatives, building scalable, high-performance web applications using modern frameworks and headless CMS technologies. This role requires both deep technical expertise and leadership capabilities, guiding projects from conception to deployment while mentoring junior developers. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with product, design, and QA teams to ensure web solutions meet business goals and deliver exceptional user experiences. Accountabilities

·        Architect, develop, and deploy robust and responsive web applications using Next.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.

·        Integrate and optimize headless CMS platforms to ensure efficient data retrieval and content management.

·        Mentor and advise junior developers, providing guidance on technical standards and best practices.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers, product managers, and QA, to ensure alignment with project objectives.

·        Review, maintain, and improve code quality and web application architecture for scalability, performance, and security.

·        Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field.

·        3+ years of professional experience in web development, with strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

·        Deep understanding of React.js and Next.js frameworks, and experience building performant web applications.

·        Experience working with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal, Contentful, Strapi, Hygraph).

·        Solid understanding of web application architecture, responsive design, and development best practices.

·        Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

·        Familiarity with modern web development workflows, version control, and collaborative development practices.

·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

·        Experience in hybrid or remote team environments.

·        Exposure to mentoring or leading development teams.

·        Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for web applications.
