In this role, you will play a pivotal part in scaling and optimizing a fast-growing design organization by building the systems, programs, and processes that enable teams to do their best work. You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, shaping how design teams collaborate, onboard, and deliver high-quality user experiences. Working closely with design leadership and cross-functional partners, you will help foster a strong, inclusive, and high-performing design culture. Accountabilities
  • Design and implement scalable processes, frameworks, and systems that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the design organization.
  • Lead and manage key programs that support team culture, engagement, and operational excellence, including team rituals, offsites, and all-hands initiatives.
  • Drive onboarding and enablement programs to ensure new designers ramp up quickly and integrate seamlessly into the team.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Research, and Operations) to align workflows and improve collaboration across disciplines.
  • Manage and optimize design tools and resources, working with internal stakeholders to evaluate, procure, and implement solutions that enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to design leadership, facilitating decision-making, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting new initiatives.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance team performance, communication, and delivery quality.

Requirements

This role requires a strong blend of program management expertise, operational thinking, and a deep understanding of design team dynamics. You should be comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, driving alignment, and leading initiatives that improve systems and workflows at scale. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution are essential. Strong communication and influencing skills are critical to succeed in a collaborative, fast-evolving environment.

  • 3–6+ years of experience in design operations, program management, or a similar role within a design-driven organization
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs from concept to delivery
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and driving alignment without direct authority
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and accountability
  • Ability to identify risks, solve problems proactively, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience improving workflows, systems, and team processes at scale
  • Familiarity with design tools, operational tooling, and collaboration platforms
