This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact data science function focused on shaping marketing strategy and accelerating user growth through advanced analytics and causal measurement. You will manage a team of experienced data scientists while partnering closely with marketing, product, engineering, and business leaders to translate complex data into actionable business decisions. The position sits at the intersection of experimentation, predictive modeling, and strategic insight generation, enabling more efficient marketing investments and improved customer lifetime value. Operating in a fast-paced, consumer-driven environment, you will help evolve marketing analytics from reporting to a proactive, decision-driving discipline. This is a highly visible leadership role where your work directly influences growth strategy, budget allocation, and organizational measurement standards.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data scientists focused on marketing analytics, causal inference, experimentation, and business intelligence.
  • Define and drive the analytics strategy for marketing and business development, aligning insights and models with company growth priorities.
  • Develop and scale causal measurement frameworks, including experimentation design, attribution models, and incremental lift analysis to assess marketing effectiveness.
  • Build predictive models, including lifetime value (LTV) and segmentation models, to optimize marketing investment decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, product, engineering, and finance to translate data insights into strategic and operational decisions.
  • Oversee data quality, pipelines, and reporting systems to ensure reliable foundations for analytics, experimentation, and machine learning applications.
  • Drive adoption of data-driven recommendations and enable self-service analytics capabilities across business teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or product analytics, including at least 5 years in people management roles leading teams of data scientists.
  • Proven experience driving marketing analytics, experimentation, causal inference, or growth analytics in consumer tech or marketplace environments.
  • Strong expertise in A/B testing, metric design, causal modeling, attribution, and statistical analysis.
  • Hands-on proficiency in SQL and Python or R, with the ability to contribute directly to analysis and technical problem-solving when needed.
  • Experience developing and scaling predictive models such as LTV, segmentation, or marketing mix models.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with data engineering concepts such as ETL pipelines, dashboards, and data governance.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and analytical workflows is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills with a track record of influencing product and marketing decisions.
