This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst, Risk Adjustment in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of healthcare data, engineering, and operations, focusing on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of risk adjustment and encounter data within a highly regulated environment. You will play a key part in monitoring and optimizing end-to-end data flows related to CMS submissions, directly impacting revenue accuracy, compliance, and healthcare delivery outcomes. The position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work across technical and operational teams to solve complex data challenges. You will be responsible for identifying data issues, improving pipelines, and supporting scalable reporting solutions. Working closely with engineering and risk adjustment teams, you will help strengthen data quality and operational reliability. This is a remote-first role with high visibility and meaningful impact on healthcare systems and patient outcomes.


Accountabilities

In this role, you will ensure the reliability and accuracy of risk adjustment data processes, with ownership of CMS encounter and supplemental submission workflows. You will act as a key analytical partner in maintaining compliance and optimizing data pipelines across teams.

  • Monitor and manage end-to-end data flows for CMS Encounter Data System (EDS) submissions to vendors and government agencies
  • Own claim and supplemental submission workflows, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and maintain data pipeline tracking reports to identify, analyze, and resolve encounter data errors
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Risk Adjustment teams to improve data integrity and operational performance
  • Support risk adjustment initiatives by tracking, implementing, and optimizing data-driven strategies
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support operational visibility and decision-making
  • Develop and update documentation, policies, and procedures related to encounter data processes and governance

Requirements

You bring strong technical and analytical experience in healthcare data environments, with a focus on risk adjustment, CMS submissions, and programming-driven analysis. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in regulated, data-intensive systems.

  • 2+ years of experience in Medicare Risk Adjustment and CMS Encounter Data System (EDS) submissions
  • 2+ years of experience working with healthcare claims data in an analytical or operational capacity
  • Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and/or R for data analysis and automation
  • Experience building operational dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, data quality monitoring, and error resolution processes
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of complex workflows, and deliver high-quality results
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Self-starter mindset with strong motivation to improve processes and deliver measurable impact
