You’ll be responsible for setting up systems that empower cross-functional teams to make data-driven decisions while laying the foundation for a future data team.

Once the data infrastructure is fully built and operational, you will have the opportunity to hire and lead a team to scale our data capabilities further.

What You’ll Be Doing:

● Build and Own Data Infrastructure

β—‹ Design, implement, and manage a scalable data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).

β—‹ Develop and maintain ETL pipelines (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, Stitch) to integrate data from multiple sources, including Shopify, Amazon, TikTok, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, and more.

β—‹ Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all systems through rigorous validation and testing.

● Develop Business Intelligence Solutions

β—‹ Build actionable dashboards and visualizations using Looker or Looker Data Studio

β—‹ Partner with teams to identify key metrics and create tailored reports for:

β—‹ Operations & Logistics: Inventory forecasting and marketplace performance

tracking.

β—‹ Growth Marketing: Spend plan forecasting, creative optimization, and channel

performance insights.

β—‹ Marketplace Team: Multi-platform performance dashboards (Amazon, Walmart,

TikTok Shop).

β—‹ Customer Experience: Tools for improving customer communication and satisfaction.

● Collaborate with Vendors and Cross-functional Teams

β—‹ Work with existing data vendors to ensure smooth transitions and integrations into in-house systems.

β—‹ Collaborate with marketing, logistics, customer support, and creative teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

● Lay the Foundation for Team Growth

β—‹ Prove the value of a robust data infrastructure by delivering measurable results and driving efficiency across teams.

β—‹ Create documentation, processes, and frameworks that can scale as the data function grows.

β—‹ Recruit and mentor a team once the foundation is established.
