Senior Cryptologic Computer Scientist (Remote)

This role offers an opportunity for an experienced cryptologic computer scientist to work on mission-critical projects supporting government customers. You will apply your expertise in signals analysis, SATCOM networking, and protocol exploitation to sustain and enhance critical software and systems. The position provides a hands-on, technically challenging environment where individual contributions directly impact national security initiatives. Accountabilities:

·        Perform technical work on cryptologic systems, including signals and protocol analysis for VSAT/RF exploitation.

·        Support SATCOM networking analysis and software/system enhancements to meet mission objectives.

·        Develop and maintain shell scripts and Python-based tools to streamline operational workflows.

·        Sustain and troubleshoot critical mission-related software and systems.

·        Collaborate with team members to ensure effective project execution and knowledge sharing.

·        Contribute to research, assessments, and solutions in cybersecurity and advanced threat mitigation.

·        Participate in on-site and remote support as needed for government contracts.

Requirements

·        Active or reinstatable TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required.

·        U.S. Citizenship.

·        8+ years of experience in computer science, or fewer years with an advanced degree.

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in signals and protocol analysis.

·        Experience with SATCOM networking analysis and related cryptologic applications.

·        Proficiency in shell scripting and Python.

·        Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

·        Ability to handle sensitive and classified information appropriately.
