You will work closely with cross-functional teams to advise on product ideation, development, launch, global compliance, and risk management. This position involves tackling complex legal challenges, providing business-minded solutions, and shaping product strategy through thoughtful legal leadership. • Deliver full product life-cycle legal counseling, supporting teams from concept through launch, iteration, and eventual sunset.
• Provide strategic, practical legal guidance in day-to-day collaboration with product, engineering, design, compliance, and other internal stakeholders.
• Anticipate issues, identify emerging risks, and develop clear, actionable solutions that balance innovation with regulatory expectations.
• Manage domestic and international legal considerations to ensure products remain compliant across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with other legal specialists and outside counsel when issues extend beyond your core scope.
• Act as the legal owner for your product area, proactively gathering context, asking the right questions, and ensuring consistent, high-quality guidance across teams.
• Respond efficiently to complex legal questions, delivering advice that is timely, relevant, and aligned with business priorities.
• Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment, adjusting to leadership needs and scaling your legal support appropriately.

• JD or equivalent and active license to practice in a US jurisdiction, with at least 7 years of legal experience, ideally including in-house exposure within technology, fintech, or crypto sectors.
• Strong background advising product teams and supporting the launch of technology-driven products.
• Deep interest in blockchain, digital assets, decentralized applications, and emerging Web3 ecosystems.
• Familiarity with global regulations relevant to financial services, payments, internet technology, and crypto, including money transmission laws, BitLicense, securities regulations, BSA, banking rules, GDPR, and related frameworks.
• Excellent judgment, analytical rigor, and ability to balance creativity with risk-adjusted decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset, bringing the right teams together to support successful product execution.
• Nice to have: experience in payments, technical infrastructure, or B2B product development.
