This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Corporate Industrial Services Engineering Specialist in the United States.

The Senior Corporate Industrial Services Engineering Specialist will lead and oversee the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of industrial service systems across multiple facilities. This includes ammonia systems, steam, water treatment, refrigeration, compressed air, HVAC, and other utilities. The role ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations while supporting operational performance, resource efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership experience, guiding teams, mentoring staff, and coordinating cross-functional projects. Frequent travel is required to support multiple sites, and the position balances on-site oversight with strategic planning, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.

Accountabilities

·        Maintain and coordinate the Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.

·        Conduct process hazard analyses, compliance audits, and incident investigations, tracking corrective actions to completion.

·        Oversee mechanical integrity and safe operation of ammonia systems and other industrial service equipment.

·        Develop, update, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for plant operations, training employees and contractors accordingly.

·        Manage utility systems including steam, water, refrigeration, HVAC, and compressed air to optimize efficiency and reliability.

·        Lead improvement initiatives and capital projects, integrating safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

·        Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure operational alignment and compliance.

·        Mentor and develop industrial services personnel, enhancing team capability, performance, and engagement.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent experience in Process Safety Management.

·        Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial services engineering, ammonia system operations, or related maintenance operations.

·        Strong knowledge of PSM implementation and compliance.

·        Demonstrated experience in supervising and leading operational or maintenance teams.

·        Certifications such as 24-hour Hazmat and 8-hour Incident Commander (including annual refreshers) are a plus.

·        Proficiency in industrial utility systems, process safety, and compliance management.

·        Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, travel approximately 50% of the time, and work in hybrid or remote environments.
