Abridge is in the process of rolling out its AI-driven solutions to healthcare systems throughout the country. As Senior Corporate Counsel, you will be at the front lines of making Abridge a success, working alongside our Sales and Partner Success teams to negotiate and close deals with customers big and small.Â
Be a lead negotiator representing Abridge in transactions with a wide range of customers, partners, and vendors
Coordinate and manage external counsel to resolve specialist issues and ensure expedient and accurate review and delivery of contracts
Work with our commercial legal team and sales team in iterating on and improving our core commercial documents and terms, and developing playbooks and processes for improving accuracy and efficiency
Passion for Abridge’s mission and the energy and drive to support a fast-moving commercial team
A customer-service mindset; we approach our deals as collaborative projects and treat negotiations as a tool to establish strong partnerships with our customers
8+ years experience negotiating commercial contracts, ideally with large healthcare systems as counterparties (although experience negotiating with government, universities, and large corporations also qualify)
Ability to communicate effectively, making complex or legal concepts accessible to non-legal counterparts and colleaguesÂ
Comfort and confidence with juggling a high volume of contracts, tight timelines, and competing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise business judgement; interest in joining a small team that prioritizes autonomy and trust
Proven ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with technical teams, designers, and sales teams, building relationships and earning their confidence
