This role is a key creative and strategic position focused on shaping the language, clarity, and overall user experience of a large-scale digital platform. You will define how millions of users interact with products through thoughtful, human-centered content design. Working at the intersection of design, product strategy, and user experience, you will craft copy that is not only clear and intuitive but also reflective of the platform’s unique community-driven identity. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, engineers, researchers, and legal partners to build cohesive and scalable experiences. This is a highly visible role where your writing directly influences usability, engagement, and product success. You will also contribute to shaping content systems and design standards that scale across the organization.
Accountabilities:- Create clear, concise, and consistent UI copy that enhances usability and helps users complete tasks efficiently and intuitively.
- Collaborate with product designers and engineering teams to shape end-to-end user experiences through language and content structure.
- Develop and evolve content design systems, patterns, and guidelines in partnership with design systems teams to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Advocate for human-centered design principles, ensuring content reflects user needs, accessibility, and clarity across all touchpoints.
- Iterate on copy based on user research, performance data, A/B testing, and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve product experiences.
- Contribute innovative ideas that enhance user engagement and simplify complex product interactions through storytelling and language.
- Present content strategies and design narratives to cross-functional partners and executive stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in content design, UX writing, or product writing within digital or technology-driven environments.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail and consistency in tone, grammar, and style.
- Proven ability to translate complex product requirements into simple, user-friendly language.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams including product, design, engineering, and research.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to create structure and clarity in ambiguous or evolving contexts.
- Familiarity with iterative design processes, including A/B testing, user research, and data-informed decision-making.
- Experience contributing to or building content systems, design guidelines, or scalable UX writing frameworks is a strong plus.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
