This role sits at the intersection of healthcare strategy, financial analysis, and facility planning, supporting hospitals and health systems in making data-driven decisions about growth, operations, and capital investments. You will work closely with senior healthcare leaders to analyze complex operational and market data, identify strategic opportunities, and translate insights into actionable facility and financial plans. The position involves building sophisticated financial models and developing executive-level recommendations that shape long-term infrastructure and service delivery decisions. You will also lead project workstreams, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality consulting deliverables. The environment is fast-paced, client-facing, and highly analytical, with strong exposure to hospital leadership and system-level transformation initiatives. This role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior consultants while contributing to broader business development efforts.
Accountabilities:- Lead analysis of hospital market, operational, and financial data to identify strategic facility and growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain advanced financial and market models to evaluate hospital expansion, capacity planning, and capital investment scenarios.
- Manage end-to-end consulting project workstreams, including planning, milestone tracking, and cross-functional coordination.
- Oversee and review analytical outputs from junior consultants to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Develop executive-level presentations and deliverables for hospital and health system leadership.
- Participate in client engagements including site visits, interviews, and strategic workshops.
- Support and mentor junior team members through coaching, feedback, and technical guidance.
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Business, Data Analytics, or related field (MBA or MHA preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, strategy, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency and experience handling large datasets.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
- Experience working with hospitals or health systems is strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including engagement with C-suite stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration and team leadership abilities, with experience mentoring junior staff.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and structured thinking.
