This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of large-scale construction execution and advanced energy infrastructure development, overseeing the delivery of complex, multimillion-dollar projects that drive energy efficiency and decarbonization. You will manage end-to-end construction activities across public, institutional, and commercial environments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Acting as a key on-site leader, you will coordinate engineering, procurement, vendors, and subcontractors while maintaining strict quality and compliance standards. The position requires strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and building systems within retrofit and upgrade environments. You will also serve as a critical liaison between field operations and project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout all phases. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on construction leader who thrives in complex, fast-moving infrastructure environments focused on sustainability and energy innovation.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead daily on-site construction management activities for complex energy efficiency and infrastructure projects across diverse customer environments.
  • Support engineering and pre-construction teams in defining project scope, selecting subcontractors, estimating costs, and building execution schedules.
  • Coordinate vendors and subcontractors to ensure optimal cost, delivery timelines, quality standards, and installation performance.
  • Oversee full project lifecycle execution, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, job cost accounting, forecasting, documentation, approvals, and financial reporting.
  • Provide ongoing project updates and status reporting to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders throughout all phases of delivery.
  • Evaluate technologies and systems to recommend optimal engineering and energy solutions for specific project needs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong site safety culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of senior-level construction project management experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in complex facility upgrades, retrofits, building controls, automation systems, or energy efficiency projects.
  • Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced construction environments.
  • Solid understanding of construction safety standards, including OSHA requirements and compliance practices.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and cost tracking.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across technical, commercial, and field teams.
