Who You Are:

The Senior Commissions Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration and optimization of the Xactly Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform, ensuring accurate and timely commission processing. This role also plays a key part in evaluating and integrating future ICM technologies to support evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a strong understanding of sales compensation processes to drive operational efficiency and system scalability. In this highly visible role, the successful candidate will automate manual processes and continuously improve reporting and system functionality. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing and presenting project reports, status updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

What You Will Do:

  • Administer and maintain the Xactly ICM platform, including configuration, data integration, and troubleshooting
  • Translate complex compensation plans into system logic and workflows within Xactly
  • Collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, People Services, and IT to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
  • Ensure that implementation meets business requirements, quality standards, and drives a positive end-user experience
  • Assess the effectiveness of the platform to identify opportunities for automation and integrations that streamline business processes
  • Perform regular audits, data validations, and reconciliations to ensure commission accuracy
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support compensation transparency and analytics
  • Lead or support the evaluation, selection, and integration of new ICM software solutions
  • Document processes, system configurations, and change management activities
  • Provide end-user support and training on Xactly and future ICM platforms
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) systems, with a strong preference for Xactly
  • In-depth knowledge of incentive compensation frameworks and commission plan design
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in data validation and reconciliation
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Proven experience in system integration, data mapping, and working with APIs
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Solid understanding of data governance, integration strategies, and software implementation best practices
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Capable of independently diagnosing and resolving system-related issues
  • Adaptable to emerging technologies and experienced in leading system transitions
  • Collaborative team player with experience working cross-functionally and with external vendors

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with additional ICM platforms such as Varicent, Spiff, SAP Commissions, and Oracle ICM
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
  • Understanding of SOX compliance standards and audit requirements related to compensation processes
  • Project management experience, with certification in methodologies such as PMP or Agile preferred
  • Proven track record in leading change management initiatives and software implementation projects
