This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Clinical Project Manager in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex clinical trials within a specialized and fast-evolving therapeutic area, driving innovation from study design through execution. You will operate at the center of cross-functional collaboration, ensuring projects meet critical timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards. Working in a global and highly matrixed environment, you’ll influence both strategic direction and day-to-day operations. The position combines leadership, problem-solving, and scientific rigor to deliver high-quality clinical outcomes. You will also mentor junior team members while partnering with stakeholders across multiple disciplines. Accountabilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end clinical trial operations, ensuring studies are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (clinical operations, data management, regulatory, safety, and vendors) to drive seamless execution of clinical programs
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and communication strategies to monitor and report on study progress
  • Oversee study documentation, including protocols, CRFs, and Trial Master Files, ensuring completeness and audit readiness
  • Monitor study performance metrics, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Manage vendor relationships and external partners, ensuring alignment with project goals and contractual expectations
  • Support budget planning, financial tracking, and reporting, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership
  • Contribute to process improvements, best practices, and organizational initiatives to enhance clinical operations effectiveness
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and contribute to team development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in clinical research, including a minimum of 3 years in clinical project management
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, including multi-center drug and/or device studies
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards
  • Experience with clinical systems such as CTMS and electronic Trial Master Files (eTMF) platforms
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously in a matrix environment
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel and PowerPoint; experience in vendor management is highly valued
  • Ability to travel occasionally as required
