Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for turning complex healthcare data into meaningful insights that guide clinical and operational decisions. You will:

Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into clear analytical tasks and reporting solutions.
Develop advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large healthcare datasets.
Analyze claims, EMR, pharmacy, and lab data to support population health, cost, and utilization insights.
Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track provider performance and patient outcomes.
Support clinical and operational teams with data-driven insights for care optimization and program evaluation.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple healthcare data sources.
Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare analytics expertise and the ability to translate data into strategic insights. You should have:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Healthcare, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
Strong SQL skills with experience working on large-scale healthcare datasets.
Hands-on experience with medical and pharmacy claims data, including cost and utilization analysis.
Knowledge of healthcare actuarial and risk adjustment concepts (e.g., HCC, RAF, population stratification).
Familiarity with healthcare coding and standards (ICD-10, CPT, DRG) and quality frameworks (HEDIS, CMS, NCQA).
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analytical findings for diverse stakeholders.
High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and experience validating data quality and assumptions.
