Position Overview

As a Senior Client Advisor you should be passionate about providing small business owners with the best customer experience they have ever seen. Client Advisors at Club Capital should possess an entrepreneurial mindset to manage a portfolio of business advisory clients. You will become a trusted advisor in many areas of the clients day to day operations; from reviewing monthly financial statements and working with them to review their business’ financial statements, establish targets, set goals to help them grow, and offer controller and CFO advisory services. Client Advisors serve as a primary point of contact for the clients within their portfolio and are expected to be able to understand accounting, business financials, while working closely with internal teams to support and perform additional duties for our more complex clients.


A Senior Client Advisor at Club Capital, will create a business advisory relationship with their clients through email, chat, and Zoom calls on a regular basis.  A true partnership between the client and serving as subject matter expert in accounting and finances to ensure client success. Client Advisors will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the monthly accounting for your client portfolio, facilitating their monthly financial reporting, and supporting in other key service areas.

Duties / Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the subject matter expert and first point of contact for clients; becoming a trusted advisor for all portfolio services by reviewing monthly financials, bookkeeping records, EOY financials, and conducting review and growth calls
  • Prepare financial statements to facilitate the clients decision making process
  • Manage the bookkeeping team assigned to your client portfolio and oversee processes for month end close
  • Prepare budgets and revenue targets with clients
  • Conduct quarterly and ad hoc Growth Sessions with clients to review financial performance, create and adjust budgets, and identify industry trends
  • Lead and/or mentor other Client Advisors
  • Address payroll questions/concerns and provide first-level troubleshooting
  • Delight customers with expert guidance and support
  • Manage personal workload to deliver high quality work products on time
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and management on established performance expectations
  • Work across teams to keep others informed of client status (i.e. Tax, client experience) 
  • The desire to grow and expand your client portfolio and advisory services, willingness to become CFO certified. 

Requirements / Qualifications

  • 4 + years of accounting experience; bookkeeping, public accounting, small business accounting or similar understanding of accounting and business financials (Required)
  • B.S or M.S in Accounting or Business or equivalent experience  
  • 3 + of related experience in a client facing role
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, tasks, and projects simultaneously
  • Solutions driven individual who is exceptional at deadlines and problem solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well organized and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service along developing lasting client relationships
