This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Civil CAD Designer in New York (USA).

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of civil, environmental, and structural engineering projects, providing technical expertise in CAD design and project deliverables. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, scientists, and landscape architects, to create high-quality construction plans, grading layouts, and pipeline designs. The position emphasizes both technical precision and collaboration, allowing you to mentor junior staff while developing innovative solutions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, team-focused environment and seeks to make a meaningful impact through civil design work.

Accountabilities:

·        Produce detailed CAD designs and construction plan drawings for civil and environmental projects.

·        Develop report figures and technical documentation to support project deliverables.

·        Perform civil design tasks, including grading, earthwork volumes, and pipeline layouts.

·        Support quality control, monitor project tasks, and ensure alignment with client needs.

·        Mentor and train junior staff and new team members on CAD standards and workflows.

·        Independently execute complex assignments, developing new techniques and procedures as needed.

Requirements

·        10+ years of experience in civil CAD design, with strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.

·        Experience managing redline edits using Bluebeam and/or Acrobat.

·        Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel).

·        Background in environmental, engineering, or natural resources consulting.

·        Experience with MicroStation and ArcGIS is a plus.

·        Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and effective written and verbal communication.

·        Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic project environment.

·        Salary range: $73,563 – $81,840 annually.
