Role Overview / Responsibilities
You will serve as a Sr. Data Engineer for the Migrations pod reporting to the Head of Applications. You will have the opportunity to work on the full stack go live process for new CareHub customers. You will work with other engineers and a project manager to make sure the customer data transfers from their old system to the new. This role has increasingly well-defined process, quick cycle time, and the opportunity for strong technical ownership. You will split your time between:
Creating/adapting ETL pipelines to transform external data into Intus canonical formats
Supporting our implementation team/customers as they go live
Creating metrics/adding reporting to ETL processes to increase customer understanding during a complicated technical process
Answer questions about source data, build self-service tooling, expand the technology platform
Working with Customer Support & implementation to understand customer feedback/bugs related to migrations
About You / Requirements
5+ years' experience with Python
Strong command of Python SWE best practices and ETL pipeline design
Strong command of software architecture and project design for 0-1
Familiarity with SQL
Preferred/Nice-to-Have
Experience with healthcare data is very helpful
Experience with data transformation in a sensitive/regulated environment
TypeScript/JavaScript/MongoDB experience is helpful (the Intus system you are migrating into is TS + Mongo)

40% writing pipeline code
20% collaborating with other engineers, or other stakeholders
10-20% running existing pipelines and generating reports
10-20% ad hoc data transformations
10% bugs

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $140K-$157K. We expect the ideal candidate to fall near the midpoint of this range, though final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and organizational needs.
Work location: This is a fully remote role based in the United States.
