Re7 Capital is a London-based crypto-asset investment firm, utilising our deep crypto network and proprietary data infrastructure to drive investment decisions for a number of Long Only and Delta Neutral DeFi Yield strategies. We also work with leading projects and blockchains to design and build their DeFi ecosystem, provide on-chain risk curation and vault management services through Re7 Labs. Re7 has a dynamic team with a strong background in investment management, data science and digital assets.

We are looking for a Senior Capital Formation leader whose role is simple: build and convert a pipeline of institutional investors and provide leadership to our broader BD work streams.

You will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of raising capital from relevant institutional, multi-family and family offices, with confidence that your previous tangible success is through your relationships and your own personal "brand".

Your ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with your peers is key, combined with your drive to cover a lot of ground and leave no stone unturned in your quest to asset raise. Your hunger to succeed will be actively supported.

In summary, proactivity; tenacity; discipline; and passion are the key attributes required. These are what will set the successful candidate apart.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential clients with the focus on tier-1 allocators
  • Define, lead and execute the firm’s business development strategy
  • Provide strong leadership to the sales team
  • Ensure support materials showcase the firm to the highest levels
  • Provide a feedback loop to ensure the product suite reflects latest trends

Requirements

  • Previous crypto experience is not essential, however experience of raising capital for a crypto fund would of course be beneficial. Certainly, a demonstrable interest in the asset class is important.
  • Proven track record of developing and converting a pipeline of new business 
  • 15+ years of financial institution sales experience & leadership
  • Experience building relationships with a top-tier investor base 
  • Excellent communication skills &,ability to influence a network of long-term relationships
  • Strong work ethic and results focused, taking ownership & accountability for consistent results
  • Ability to work independently and in a high octane, fast paced environment
