Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and
technical solutions. By analyzing data, gathering requirements, and collaborating with
cross-functional teams, Business Analysts ensure that business objectives are met
through effective use of technology, systems, and process improvements. They work
closely with stakeholders to influence decision-making, optimize operations, and deliver
value across various business units.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the identification and documentation of business requirements, business rules, and user stories; translating them into clear, actionable solutions that drive value.
  • Mentor and guide as a lead business analyst across a portfolio of applications, ensuring adherence to best practices in requirement gathering, process analysis, and defining structured data relationships to support system and reporting needs.
  • Lead the analysis and design to streamline operations and champion innovative approaches that support organizational growth and agility.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
  • Participate in the definition and delivery of minimum viable products (MVPs) and evaluate market fit and feasibility.
  • Deliver product enhancements based on user feedback, experiments, and hypothesis-driven analysis.
  • Delivers solutions from a prioritized backlog to achieve business goals efficiently.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, providing insights that shape company-wide initiatives.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), and participate in end-to-end regression, and exploratory testing for new system implementations and enhancements, ensuring business needs are met.
  • Drive the development of user-facing documentation inputs—including data layouts, process flows, and functional details. Partner with Marketing and Technical Writing teams to ensure final user materials reflect accurate, complete, and user-friendly content.
  • Develop and oversee project roadmaps, timelines, and resource planning for critical business initiatives.

The ideal candidate:

  • Requires experience with Story Mapping, Design Thinking, and Agile practices.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and experience using databases to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
  • Can analyze business problems, work well in cross-functional teams, and present data clearly.
  • Manages multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced settings.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including ability to identify trends, interpret results, and link findings to business outcomes. Acts as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understands strategic opportunities and connects them to product outcomes.
  • Preferred: 2+ years’ experience in ATPCO Subscription Data or Airline Pricing

 

Salary Range: $93,000 - $115,000
