You will play a key part in shaping secure and scalable systems that support our core business capabilities. This will involve working closely with product and engineering stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust, extensible, and maintainable software solutions.</p><p> </p><p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Build and extend services to provide new core functionality to the platform</li><li>Expand our authentication, authorization, and analytics capabilities</li><li>Build, test, deploy, and monitor a distributed set of services</li><li>Work with the product team, designers, and other engineering teams</li><li>Expand the Censys public API to reflect growing capabilities on the platform</li><li>Improve the developer experience for both internal and external stakeholders</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What You’ll Bring:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience writing backend services in Golang</li><li>Understanding of distributed systems and the challenges that come with them</li><li>General knowledge of database design and common access patterns</li><li>Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)</li><li>Strong collaborative and teamwork skills</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Bonus Points:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience building services within GCP</li><li>Experience using Kubernetes and Docker</li><li>Experience with SSO, SAML, and/or OIDC</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>For high cost of living areas (San Francisco Bay, New York City, and Seattle), the expected salary range for this position is $161,000 USD - $192,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity. </p><p>For all other locations, the expected salary range for this position is $137,000 USD - $165,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity. </p><p> </p><p>In addition to our great compensation package, our benefits are effective on day one and include but are not limited to: 401k match, health, vision, dental, and more!
