Senior AWS Engineer

This role sits at the core of modern cloud transformation initiatives, where you will design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-native solutions on Amazon Web Services. You will partner directly with clients to translate business and technical requirements into robust, secure, and high-performing architectures. The position blends hands-on engineering with consultative problem-solving, ensuring solutions are aligned with long-term business goals. You will contribute to modernization efforts, including application refactoring and infrastructure automation, while driving best practices in cloud engineering. A strong focus is placed on CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and continuous optimization across cost, reliability, and scalability dimensions. You will also work in a collaborative environment that values innovation, continuous learning, and practical use of emerging technologies, including AI tools. Accountabilities:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud solutions on AWS tailored to client requirements
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into secure, scalable architectures
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and automated deployment processes
Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
Support application modernization initiatives, including refactoring legacy systems for cloud environments
Optimize AWS environments for performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency
Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide ongoing operational support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end solution quality and delivery excellence
Actively leverage and promote the use of AI tools to improve engineering workflows and productivity

Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, scalability, and distributed systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation
Experience working across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong problem-solving and consultative mindset focused on business outcomes
Ability to work directly with clients and translate technical concepts into clear solutions
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities
Experience mentoring, collaborating, and contributing to team development
Interest in or experience with AI tools and emerging technologies is highly valued
Adaptability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
