Comcast’s Consumer Research & Insights team provides research support and market research insights across Comcast’s divisions and product lines. The Consumer Research & Insights team executes quantitative and qualitative market research projects to support the organization in making informed decisions based on insightful market research data.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst - Research Operations Project Management to join Comcast’s Research Operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in project management, budgeting, and legal compliance. The ideal candidate will manage the operational aspects of research projects, including vendor onboarding and coordination, budget tracking, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables. This is a full-time, remote position based on the East Coast.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage budgets for research projects, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Support procurement processes, working with legal and compliance teams to finalize contracts and scope documents.
Partner with the finance team to manage project invoicing, reconcile budgets, and ensure compliance with financial processes.
Oversee the project management lifecycle, ensuring research initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to coordinate project plans and deliverables.
Negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and cost efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including budgets, timelines, and key milestones.
Generate regular reports for stakeholders, summarizing project status, budget updates, and actionable insights.
Identify and implement process improvements and automation to optimize research operations and increase efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in research operations, project management, or financial oversight.
Strong project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Smartsheet).
Experience with budget creation, tracking, and reconciliation; familiarity with financial software is a plus.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure high-quality outputs.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for budgeting and reporting; PowerPoint skills for stakeholder presentations.
Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
