If building a leading TPA and tackling long-standing challenges in the claims space excites you, we’d love to meet you.</p><h2> </h2><h2><strong>About the role</strong></h2><p>As a Senior Analyst within the Financial Operations team, your primary focus will be working with our transportation customers leading monthly reconciliations and critical financial tasks. You will collaborate cross-functionally internally to reconcile financial data and implement solutions that improve service delivery for our clients. Your contributions will directly impact Reserv's ability to provide seamless, tech-driven claims management and reconciliation, ensuring that we continue to set new standards in the industry. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about using technology to transform traditional insurance operations.</p><h3><strong>Who you are</strong></h3><ul><li>A critical thinker with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and process improvement.</li><li>Someone who geeks out on numbers and loves working through discrepancies.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and projects.</li><li>A strong communicator, capable of presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>A proactive and adaptable self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment.</li><li>Collaborative and comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Experienced working with tools such as Microsoft 365 Suite, Tableau or Looker (SQL), and other financial reporting and communication applications.</li></ul><h3><strong>What we need</strong></h3><p>We need you to do all the things typical of the role:</p><ul><li>Lead the reconciliation of loss fund payments for the transportation line of business, ensuring alignment between claims data, financial records, and bank statements.</li><li>Investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies with internal teams, claimants, and customers.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and automation within Financial Operations.</li><li>Document, validate, and enhance procedures related to large carrier accounts and high-severity or high-frequency funds.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial controls, reporting consistency, and overall operational performance.</li><li>Support a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the Finance team.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>At least 3+ years of experience in an accounting, finance, or analytical role, preferably with a TPA or an insurance company.</li><li>Strong proficiency in data tools such as Excel or similar platforms; experience with visualization tools is a plus.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex insights clearly.</li><li>Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, with the ability to write queries, preferred but not required.</li><li>Familiarity with claims management processes preferred but not required.</li></ul><h2> </h2><h2><strong>Benefits</strong></h2><ul><li>Generous health-insurance package with nationwide coverage, vision, & dental</li><li>401(k) retirement plan with employer matching</li><li>Competitive PTO policy – we want our employees fresh, healthy, happy, and energized!</li><li>Generous family leave policy after 8 months of continuous work</li><li>Work from anywhere to facilitate your work life balance</li><li>Apple laptop, large second monitor, and other quality-of-life equipment you may want.
