This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst, Credit Risk in United States.

This is a high-impact analytical role at the intersection of data science, financial strategy, and product innovation. You will play a key role in shaping how consumer credit is assessed, priced, and scaled across evolving financial products. Working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive growth and portfolio health. The position offers strong ownership, allowing you to lead initiatives end-to-end—from problem definition to execution. You’ll also influence critical decisions related to underwriting, credit policy, and product strategy. If you enjoy solving complex problems and communicating insights that matter, this role offers both challenge and visibility.

Accountabilities:
  • Own end-to-end credit analysis workflows, translating data insights into actionable strategies for underwriting, pricing, and product development
  • Develop and refine credit risk models using traditional and alternative data sources, including cash flow-based insights
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments related to pricing, acquisition strategies, and product features
  • Build and maintain forecasting models, including loss projections, stress testing, and portfolio monitoring frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Finance, and Treasury) to align analytics with business objectives
  • Drive automation and scalability of credit decisioning processes while maintaining strong risk governance
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions

Requirements:

  • 2–5+ years of experience in credit risk, analytics, or a related role within consumer finance (e.g., lending, BNPL, credit cards)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Python, PySpark, or similar data tools
  • Solid understanding of credit risk principles, underwriting strategies, and credit policy frameworks
  • Experience building models for forecasting, pricing, and unit economics
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, business-oriented insights and recommendations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and AI-assisted analytics tools is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as finance, economics, mathematics, or engineering

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives
  • Flexible, remote-first work environment with optional office access
  • Unlimited paid time off and generous parental leave policies
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage for employees and dependents
  • Company-sponsored retirement plan with matching contributions
  • Learning and development stipend to support continuous growth
  • Wellness benefits and subscriptions to support work-life balance
  • Collaborative culture with strong career development opportunities
