The candidate will possess strong writing and analytic/assessment capabilities. Provide an assessment on whether/how these events relate to recent customer topics of interest in that AOR; tailor assessments to customer interest areas as appropriate.

Support to Growth:

  • Craft and contribute to long and short form products that will demonstrate SmartMast effectiveness in order to bring on new clients and/or support current client contract growth.

Targeting:

  • In support of Field Operations, provide research and analysis to identify new fleets or vessels that may be candidates to host SmartMast capabilities.

  • Research these vessels’ patterns of life, identify vessels/captains that frequent the AORs in which we have interest, and effectively communicate these results to the field operations team.

Qualifications (preferred):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Analysis, International Relations, Maritime Studies, or related fields.

  • Proven experience in research and analysis, with a strong understanding of written products for customers and internal departments.

  • Experience with HUMINT cycle, as well as Targeting and OSINT tools, smart technologies and solutions, particularly in analyzing and supporting deployed systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with people across the globe in various timezones.

  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations and maintain flexibility given the company’s status as a startup.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with contractors and stakeholders.

  • Flexible work hours and the option for remote work.

  • Opportunities for professional development and continued education.
