The Senior AI Research Scientist will lead research and development efforts to design, implement, and optimize AI solutions for medical imaging, with a focus on advancing healthcare outcomes. This role involves developing deep learning models, analyzing complex datasets, and translating research into clinically viable tools. The scientist will collaborate closely with software engineers, clinicians, and product teams to ensure AI models are robust, accurate, and aligned with regulatory standards. Accountabilities:

·         Design, develop, and optimize deep learning models for medical imaging applications.

·         Conduct research on novel AI methodologies and techniques relevant to healthcare solutions.

·         Collaborate with product and clinical teams to integrate AI models into production environments.

·         Perform data preprocessing, annotation, and enhancement to improve model accuracy.

·         Lead testing and validation of AI models to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

·         Prepare technical documentation, white papers, and research publications.

·         Mentor junior researchers and provide guidance to accelerate R&D initiatives.

Requirements

·         Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

·         5+ years of R&D experience in medical imaging, computer vision, or machine learning.

·         Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.

·         Advanced programming skills in Python and C++.

·         Experience handling large-scale datasets, preferably medical imaging datasets (DICOM, mammography, CT, MRI).

·         Knowledge of AI model validation, regulatory requirements, and clinical workflows.

·         Strong publication record in top-tier conferences or journals.

·         Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; able to present complex research clearly.

·         Proactive team player with ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional teams.

·         Preferred: experience with explainable AI (XAI), cloud deployment (AWS, GCP), and patentable AI innovation.
