As the Sr. AI Manager, you will lead a team of AI/ML and Software Engineers who are building the world’s first Agentic Security Platform. You will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and building the team, while contributing directly to the architecture, development, and deployment of AI systems. This is a unique opportunity for a leader to join an early stage startup and help drive the core AI/ML team in an AI native company. The perfect candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being hands-on, and making business impact by delivering and by scaling a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and scale a small team of talented AI and Software Engineers, ensuring technical excellence and high productivity.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to align on project goals and priorities.

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of building and deploying Agentic AI elements, from evaluation to production.

  • Provide mentorship and career development to your team, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

  • Ensure you and the team are up to date on the developments in AI across new models, finetunes, and agent architectures.

  • Ensure the smooth operation of production systems, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the Agents.

  • Manage and optimize system performance and costs in production, balancing the need for innovation with the operational demands of a growing company.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering or machine learning, with a strong track  record of delivering ML solutions that solve business problems.

  • 5+ years of experience managing and leading engineers (not just researchers or scientists), with preference for managing teams of 10+.

  • Strong knowledge in theoretical and practical AI/ML.

  • Experience with MLOps practices in production, including evaluations, automation, A/B testing, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines for ML.

  • Preferred: Hands on experience building AI Agents in production environments, using RAGs, ReACT agents, and designing new agentic workflows.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Passion for cybersecurity and using ML to solve complex security challenges.
