This role plays a key part in building high-performing finance and accounting teams across a growing portfolio of businesses. You will focus on identifying, attracting, and hiring senior-level accounting professionals, particularly Controllers and finance leaders, who can drive operational excellence and financial integrity. Working remotely, you will partner closely with executive stakeholders to shape hiring strategies and deliver impactful talent solutions. The role combines hands-on executive search with strategic advisory responsibilities, including market intelligence and process optimization. You will own full-cycle recruiting while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience from sourcing through offer. This position is well suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoys working on mission-critical leadership hires.
Accountabilities- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for senior accounting and finance roles, including Controllers and other leadership positions, ensuring high-quality hiring outcomes.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract top-performing accounting and finance executives in competitive markets.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines of senior-level accounting professionals for current and future hiring needs.
- Partner closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to define role requirements, refine hiring strategies, and align on expectations.
- Provide data-driven market insights, compensation intelligence, and talent trends to support hiring decisions.
- Guide stakeholders through the full recruitment cycle, including intake, candidate evaluation, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Ensure a seamless, professional, and high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and sourcing approaches to increase efficiency and hiring success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in recruiting, human resources, business, or a related field.
- At least 2+ years of experience in executive or specialized recruiting, ideally within accounting, finance, or leadership hiring.
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle recruitment processes in competitive or high-growth environments.
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate with senior-level stakeholders and hiring managers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage executive-level candidates.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ownership over multiple recruiting pipelines.
- Nice to have: experience recruiting for private equity-backed or rapidly scaling organizations.
- Nice to have: exposure to industrial services, trades, or field operations sectors.
