Join us.</p></div><p>The Senior Accounting Associate will primarily focus on expense-related accounting functions and own critical workflows including vendor payments, procurement review, contract validation, and month-end close responsibilities. This role works closely with teams across Marketing, Legal, and Compliance, so strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.</p><p>You’ll be instrumental in scaling our accounting operations to meet the demands of a growing, dynamic business.</p><h3><strong>About the role and why it’s unique:</strong></h3><ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting for expense-related accounts, including platforms such as Ramp and Zip</li><li>Review and validate vendor invoices, route them for proper approval, and ensure timely and accurate payment</li><li>Configure and optimize system approval workflows and reporting tools to improve efficiency</li><li>Partner closely with the Marketing team to review and interpret complex affiliate contracts</li><li>Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors regarding payments and issue resolution</li><li>Lead core areas of the monthly close process, including accrued expenses, partner payments, credit and bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, and accounts receivable</li><li>Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate departmental coding across Sage, Ramp, and Zip systems</li><li>Support broader finance initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and departmental reporting</li><li>Contribute to system and process enhancements related to multi-entity accounting and consolidations</li><li>Develop a working knowledge of tax reporting obligations such as 1099 filings, tax provisions, and income taxes</li><li>Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to identify and address any accounting-owned registration or filing requirements</li></ul><h3><strong>Who you are:</strong></h3><ul><li>CPA certification required</li><li>4+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a big 4 background</li><li>Strong audit/assurance foundation</li><li>Experience in a technology or high-growth environment is a plus</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-moving, evolving company</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset</li></ul><h3><strong>Even better if you have:</strong></h3><ul><li>Experience using expense systems such as Zip or Ramp</li><li>Prior experience working with marketing partnership teams on affiliate spend</li><li>Familiarity with contract term analysis</li></ul><p><em><br>Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $95,000 and $115,000, plus target equity.
