Senior Accountant (Remote - US)

Accountabilities:

• Lead monthly accounting close activities, including general ledger analysis, journal entries, complex account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and international tax regulations by coordinating with external tax partners for both income and sales tax filings.
• Assist leadership with cash management duties such as maintaining and updating cash forecasts.
• Support audit processes for both U.S. and international entities, serving as a point of contact for external auditors.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and maintain internal documentation for accounting procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in the financial close cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting projects and ensure consistency with global accounting standards.
• Maintain awareness of functional currency impacts on financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Take initiative on special assignments and adapt to evolving team needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in external audit, accounting, or financial reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and a solid grasp of accounting concepts.
• Familiarity with tax compliance deadlines and working under time constraints.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across levels and departments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
