We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant Financial Reporting on our Finance team who is ready to drive the future of mobility with us! 

Interested in driving the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting guidelines? This role involves managing stakeholders and deliverables supporting the financial reporting process, including quarterly and annual reports, and pervasive cross-functional collaboration with team members across all functions of the organization.

Your Impact

  • Serve as the primary preparer in the company’s external reporting process, working closely with the Director of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to prepare, compile, and assess disclosures included in Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and support the quarterly earnings release.
  • Prepare month-end and quarter-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules for assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare quarterly stock compensation accounting and reporting.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and draw preliminary conclusions on accounting and reporting matters, including but not limited to ASC-718, ASC-842, ASC-350, ASC-210, and FASB ASUs.
  • Assist in quarterly reviews and annual audits, preparing audit schedules as necessary.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve accounting and reporting processes using automation routines, artificial intelligence, and other internal resources, and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with treasury, tax, FP&A, investor relations, and operational accounting teams (both domestic and international) to ensure a smooth reporting process.
  • Perform assigned SOX control activities and prepare required documentation.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of SOX control activities and propose improvements to IA and other control participants.

What You Bring - Qualifications

  • BS degree in Accounting.
  • 3+ years of related experience, preferably a mix of public and private accounting.
  • CPA License preferred.

What you Bring - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High-level analytical abilities and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, SOX, and the audit cycle of a large accelerated filer.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently and effectively in a remote-work environment.
  • Careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to problem solve and navigate a fluid and fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset, willing to seize opportunities for improvement and implement such improvements.
