About the role
- Nerdio is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in the US. In this role, you will manage core accounting functions including month-end close, accruals, payroll, and AP, while helping optimize systems like NetSuite and FloQast. Ideal candidates for this position will have 2–4 years of public accounting experience and either have their CPA or be actively pursuing it. The role reports to the Controller.
What you'll do
- Lead and execute the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Manage and improve accounts payable and payroll workflows in collaboration with HR.
- Support the implementation of Netsuite.
- Participate in internal and external audit support and documentation.
- Create and maintain financial models and reports in Excel, focusing on accuracy and insight.
- Partner with leadership to identify and implement process improvements across accounting functions.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of public accounting experience
- Experience working with or implementing NetSuite (required) and FloQast (a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables
- Familiarity with core accounting processes: month-end close, accruals, AP, payroll
- SaaS industry experience is preferred but not required
- CPA certification in progress or completed
