This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Account Strategist in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of client success, commercial growth, and strategic advisory within a fast-scaling digital agency environment. You will work with high-profile organizations across the Americas, supporting mission-critical digital platforms where performance, reliability, and user experience directly impact global audiences. Acting as the primary strategic partner for your accounts, you will ensure client goals are clearly translated into actionable delivery plans and measurable outcomes. The role requires a strong balance of relationship management, commercial thinking, and operational awareness, with ownership of the client journey from onboarding through expansion. You will collaborate closely with delivery teams across regions to align technical execution with business objectives. This is a fully remote opportunity within a globally distributed, collaborative, and growth-oriented organization.


Accountabilities
  • Lead and develop senior-level client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted strategic advisor focused on business outcomes, not just service delivery, while ensuring strong alignment between client expectations and execution.
  • Own account growth by identifying expansion opportunities, building structured account growth strategies, and consistently achieving commercial targets through upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
  • Drive client onboarding and ongoing engagement processes, ensuring clarity, alignment, and strong foundations for long-term partnerships and successful project delivery.
  • Facilitate outcome-driven business reviews, translating performance insights into clear decisions, actionable next steps, and improved client satisfaction.
  • Act as the key escalation point for account-related risks, ensuring issues are identified early, communicated clearly, and resolved in collaboration with delivery teams.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, account governance, and reporting, maintaining transparency for leadership while balancing commercial ambition with delivery feasibility.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a web development, digital, or WordPress-focused agency environment, ideally working with enterprise or large-scale clients.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively around business outcomes, strategic priorities, and commercial value.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and closing account expansion opportunities while meeting revenue targets.
  • Experience creating and executing account growth strategies, with the ability to translate client goals into structured commercial and delivery plans.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence handling challenging conversations and aligning expectations across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of delivery processes, enabling effective collaboration with technical and project teams to ensure alignment and risk mitigation.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and analytical, with the ability to manage forecasts, account data, and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
