Senior Account Executive (Washington D.C., Virginia, or Maryland)

This is a high-impact sales role focused on driving business within U.S. Federal DoD and Intelligence accounts. You'll lead strategic account engagement, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth with a focus on digital forensic solutions. Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders, you'll deliver tailored solutions that support critical missions. Accountabilities:                          

• Develop and execute detailed annual and quarterly territory plans for Federal DoD/Intelligence sectors.
• Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities with law enforcement and government organizations.
• Lead face-to-face presentations and facilitate technical demonstrations to convey solution value.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including product trials, quoting, and CRM updates.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within Salesforce and support operational transparency.
• Conduct regular needs assessments and translate client pain points into tailored solutions.
• Stay informed about the digital forensics landscape and proactively position the product portfolio competitively.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software sales, preferably within DoD or Intelligence agencies.
• Proven success in direct or indirect sales roles with a strong understanding of government procurement cycles.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
• Background in digital forensics is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
• Must be based in Washington D.C., Virginia, or Maryland and open to frequent travel.
