This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Fictiv. We are currently looking for a Senior Account Executive – Medical Device Manufacturing in the United States.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to drive growth in the medical device manufacturing sector. This role provides the opportunity to work with leading companies to accelerate their product development and bring innovative medical devices to market faster. You will develop a deep understanding of customer needs, influence decision-making at all organizational levels, and deliver tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency and speed to market. Success in this position requires consultative selling, strategic relationship building, and expert knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing lifetime value, all while contributing to the expansion of a cutting-edge digital manufacturing platform.

Accountabilities

  • Prospect and build a robust pipeline within target accounts, identifying both prototyping and production opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasting in CRM systems.
  • Develop and sustain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, supply chain managers, and C-level executives.
  • Deliver sales presentations, on-site meetings, quarterly business reviews, and other face-to-face interactions to strengthen customer confidence and engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet complex customer requirements.
  • Understand customer product roadmaps, internal processes, and decision-making structures to configure optimal solutions that improve time to market.
  • Expand wallet share and influence by identifying opportunities for additional products and services within existing accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive sales experience in the medical device industry, with a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of medical device regulations, including FDA, ISO 13485, and MDR compliance.
  • Expertise in consultative, solution-based sales and experience driving expansion within strategic industry verticals.
  • Strong knowledge of product development, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency with modern sales tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, sequencing, prospecting, collaboration tools).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Experience in TAM/SAM analysis and strategic account planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites, conferences, and industry events as needed.
