This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Account Executive - K12, Midwest Territory in the United States.

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive growth and adoption of educational technology solutions across the Midwest region. This role focuses on building strong relationships with key stakeholders in K-12 institutions, guiding prospective clients through the purchasing process, and consistently achieving sales targets. The position requires strategic and consultative selling, an understanding of the educational landscape, and the ability to communicate value effectively at all organizational levels. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, leveraging insights and creativity to expand market share, optimize client engagement, and deliver measurable impact. Remote-friendly with occasional travel, this role offers the opportunity to influence educational outcomes and drive meaningful change across the territory.


Accountabilities:
  • Sell educational technology products to new and existing clients within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand client relationships and market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and decision-makers.
  • Guide prospective clients through the purchasing process, ensuring alignment with timelines and goals.
  • Accurately forecast quarterly and annual sales performance.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to gain referrals and optimize territory coverage.
  • Log and maintain accurate account information in CRM systems for timely reporting and analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in EdTech or enterprise software/SaaS.
  • Strong consultative and strategic selling skills, with experience engaging at all organizational levels, including C-suite.
  • Knowledge of educational pedagogy and LMS sales processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Winning By Design or similar approaches.
  • Skilled in needs analysis, proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Comfortable with 25–30% travel across the assigned territory.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first, flexible environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Competitive base salary ($100,000 – $120,000) plus on-target earnings (OTE) of $200,000 – $240,000 with uncapped commissions.
