This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Account Executive - K12 - Midwest Territory in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Account Executive to lead K-12 sales initiatives across the Midwest territory. This role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with educational institutions, drive adoption of innovative learning solutions, and impact student and educator success at scale. The ideal candidate will combine strategic sales expertise with deep knowledge of the education sector to engage prospects, navigate complex purchasing processes, and deliver measurable results. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage insights to guide clients, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic sales pipeline. This position allows for remote work with flexibility and requires regular travel within the assigned region.


Accountabilities:
  • Sell enterprise learning solutions to new and existing clients within the Midwest territory.
  • Share insights and expertise to help prospects evaluate and select the best solutions for their needs.
  • Prepare tailored messaging and presentations to guide clients through the purchasing process.
  • Accurately forecast quarterly and annual sales performance and pipeline growth.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share and client relationships.
  • Build strong connections with key decision-makers across educational institutions, including C-level executives.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to gain referrals and maximize territory coverage.
  • Maintain accurate and timely account information in Salesforce CRM.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets within specified timelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of proven sales experience, ideally in EdTech or enterprise software/SaaS sales.
  • Experience selling at all organizational levels, including executive (C-level) stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic and consultative sales skills, with the ability to conduct detailed needs analysis and proposal development.
  • Familiarity with educational pedagogy and K-12 technology adoption is a plus.
  • Knowledge of formal sales methodologies (e.g., Winning By Design or similar) is preferred.
  • Comfortable with ~25–30% travel within the assigned territory.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Competitive base salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually.
  • On-target earnings (OTE) ranging from $200,000–$240,000 annually, with a 50/50 split and uncapped commissions.
